Project Manager - Americas

Position Overview
Petro IT is a fast-growing, well capitalized company with a unique market changing software solution supporting the productive build-out and maintenance of energy transportation assets. As part of our global expansion plans, we are seeking an expert in the oil and natural gas pipeline industry who is capable of managing an international, cross-functional team in the implementation of its service oriented, software technology throughout the Americas. Headquartered in our recently opened Denver, Colorado office, this strategic position will initially operate in a hands-on, start-up mode which will lead to the management of all aspects of solution implementation and support throughout North and South America.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Take ownership of and manage all aspects of all pilots and implementations
• Manage international, cross-functional team of engineers, analysts and client site based support personnel
• Be the product expert and seek strategic opportunities to broaden business
• Support discovery and aggregation of product requirements through industry participation and project work
• Interface directly with clients and prospects through software demonstrations
• Help prepare demos, white papers, collateral, product announcements and web-site content

Required

• BS in Engineering, Project Management Certification a plus
• 5 + years pipeline industry experience, preferably in engineering and\or construction project management
• Proven  problem solving ability
• Ability to lead international, cross-functional teams
• Solid understanding of relevant technology - web SOA, GIS, process, risk and resource management tools
• Practical knowledge of asset build-out process from material acquisition and construction thru commissioning
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detail oriented, hard working, excellent planning skills
• Domestic and international travel up to 75% of the time
